This fee of $30 per 3-hour session covers all materials, consumables, and studio resources for your 9-hour lost wax casting workshop (three 3-hour sessions). This extended class gives you the time and space to develop your skills further, with hands-on practice and expert guidance. It includes all consumables and special supplies needed for lost wax casting: wax, investment powder, kiln time, torch fuel, and access to casting tools. The fee also helps cover some of the significant studio overhead and equipment use required for this advanced casting method.
Includes:
– Up to 20 grams of brass or copper for casting
– Wax for carving, casting investment powder
– Kiln usage and extended torch time
– Consumables: solder, saw blades, abrasives
– Use of all casting tools and safety equipment
– Heavy wear on casting tools, molds, and ventilation systems
