This fee covers all specialized materials, consumables, and shared studio resources for your 4-hour Casting 101 session. This class introduces students to both Water & Broom Casting and Cuttlefish Bone Casting techniques, which use organic and natural forms to create one-of-a-kind textures and shapes.
Includes:
– Up to 20 grams of brass or copper for in-class casting
– Broom bundles and cuttlefish bone for mold-making
– Higher gas usage for melting metal
– Consumables: solder, saw blades, sandpaper
– Use of casting tools, torches, crucibles, and safety gear
– Wear and tear on studio tools and equipment from high-heat processes
